Athletics Feel the Cougar Pride! At GCC, we believe participation in college athletics should be an extension of the total education experience. Our outstanding coaches and staff work hard to emphasize habits of self-discipline and excellence through competitive athletic experiences, learned skills, good sportsmanship and teamwork with our diverse population of student-athletes.

GCC boasts 13 intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports teams – which regularly achieve regional, district and national level recognition and attract athletes from all over the world.

Facilities

Officially opening in May of 2016, the Richard C. Call Arena is home to the Genesee Athletics Department. The Arena itself is a 20,400 square foot field house that can accommodate many different types of. The entire facility houses many of GCC’s physical education classrooms and coaches offices. It is also the site of a state of the art Fitness Center, press box overlooking the newly resurfaced turf field, meeting rooms and locker room facilities.
